ICSO-US (USA), officially established in 2019 in San Francisco, USA, is the last subordinate branch of ICSO, an international public welfare support organization, which was originally founded to focus on social assistance and help people in need who cannot get government assistance for special reasons to get through difficult times.
So far, ICSO staff has been working together with local volunteers, jointly carried out a number of relief activities, visited several poor families. ICSO-US focuses on teamwork, openness and sharing, innovation and progress, and continue to explore and innovate in public welfare activities, and actively cooperate with all levels of government, enterprises, civil society organizations, volunteers and other aspects of cooperation, to improve their own qualities, and has a good reputation in the community.
01 Light Bearer
With today’s world situation in turmoil, the U.S. vagrants and the increasing number of poor people, ICSO joint local public welfare organizations, for this special group of people to jointly carry out the necessities of life, clothing, as well as the donation of money. We hope to provide a touch of warmth and help to the group in the darkness.
In this program, ICSO-US partners with local charities, businesses and churches to donate necessities, clothing and donations to needy Americans who, for special reasons, are unable to receive government assistance. The program benefits over 4,000 people in three phases.
02 Spread the Love
Spread the Love is a social relief program launched by ICSO-US in 2020. Due to the wide gap between the rich and the poor in the United States, the majority of the population’s economic level is well below average, and when faced with a major illness and its sky-high medical costs, many are unable to afford it.
ICSO-US brings together local charities and online platforms to raise funds for people suffering from serious and specific illnesses. The project spreads positive social energy to help more people. By joining hands with local charitable organizations and online platforms, ICSO-US gathers love and care to raise funds for people with serious and special illnesses, spreads positive energy, and saves lives with a little bit of power. During the period of this program, ICSO-US donated more than RMB 10,000,000 to help more than 50,000 seriously ill patients who could not receive effective treatment due to financial constraints and limited medical insurance.
03 Homecoming
The ravages of the New Crown Epidemic led to a sharp increase in the unemployment rate in the United States, and countless people lost their jobs and slept on the streets. In the face of the large number of homeless people, ICSO-US initiated a public welfare program for social assistance, and through close cooperation with Christian churches, it provided various special help for the homeless groups in the United States.
With the help of ICSO-US, NGOs, churches and the government, many homeless people have been able to return to their families and have stable jobs. Since the launch of Homeward Bound in 2021, ICSO-US has started the first phase of the program in the U.S., during which more than $1 million has been donated, helping hundreds of homeless people during the epidemic.
