Stanford PACS Joint Program
Since its inception in 2006, the Stanford PACS Center has focused on philanthropic and social research as its core mission. To better inform policy and social innovation, philanthropic investment, and nonprofit practice, PACS has invited experts, scholars, NGOs, NPOs, corporations, and governments from a wide range of countries to join the research effort on various issues in the field of philanthropy and social innovation.

Project overview
Since its inception in 2006, the Stanford PACS Center has focused on philanthropic and social research as its core mission. To better inform policy and social innovation, philanthropic investment, and nonprofit practice, PACS has invited experts, scholars, NGOs, NPOs, corporations, and governments from a wide range of countries to join the research effort on various issues in the field of philanthropy and social innovation. ICSO is an international, frontline philanthropic organization with three affiliated chapters and more than 7,000 volunteers worldwide, with over 200 charitable projects and many innovative experiences in the field.
Why it matters
Creating practical, lasting value.
The cooperation between ICSO and PACS is based on the premise of complementary strengths of both parties, based on the first-hand data accumulated by ICSO for many years in the field of charity and social innovation. ICSO and PACS will work together to optimize project models, fundraising channels, and new social innovation projects. We will also work with other partner organizations to share data, build an integrated platform for international public service data, and contribute to the development of global public service.

Stanford PACS is a research center for students, scholars, and practitioners to explore and share ideas for creating social change. Its key participants are Stanford faculty, visiting scholars, postdoctoral fellows, graduate and undergraduate students, philanthropists, and nonprofit and foundation practitioners. As publisher of the Stanford Social Innovation Review, Stanford PACS informs policy and social innovation, philanthropic investment, and nonprofit practice.
