01 About ICSO
The International Commonweal Support Organization (ICSO) was founded in 2017 by two Chinese students studying in the UK. ICSO is an international non-profit organization dedicated to promoting global public welfare. In addition to creating a global philanthropic platform in China, ICSO earned formal accreditation from the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) in 2022, becoming one of its 1,700 recognized member organizations.
To date, ICSO has established branches in China, the U.S., and the U.K. Together with partners from around the world, ICSO operates over 150 public welfare projects in 12 countries and 54 regions. The organization has engaged more than 5,000 international student volunteers and raised over $2 million USD.
02 Now Hiring: 2 Event Planning Officers
Job Responsibilities:
Plan and coordinate online public welfare projects, follow up on progress, and collaborate with design and development teams to execute projects. You will also be responsible for promoting ICSO on our official Weibo account, managing online platforms, and suggesting improvements for better operational results. During project periods, you will monitor timelines and effectiveness, propose optimization strategies, and provide additional support for the events when needed.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program; majors in marketing, event planning, public administration, or education preferred
- Strong writing skills, quick thinking, and excellent verbal communication
- Must be available at least 3 days a week; work is based in Shenzhen, with preference for local residents
- Passionate about public welfare, with a respectful and inclusive attitude toward target communities
- Good communication skills and team spirit; international students are encouraged to apply
