Art Burning Dreams is a public welfare project launched by ICSO China in 2020 for education in poor mountainous areas. “Science and art are two sides of the same coin”, and only the simultaneous development of art and science can truly improve the education level of poor elementary school. The project focuses on the development of humanities and social science subjects in poor areas, taking art classes as the starting point to help poor schools open or improve art classes, and through joint development with the Art Burning Dreams project, promoting children from poor families to grow physically and mentally together, and giving children an artistic year.
Why it matters
Creating practical, lasting value.
Every innocent child is a natural artist who uses his or her imagination and childlike brush to paint a strange and lovely picture. However, in many elementary schools and junior high schools, schools are unable to offer art-related courses due to financial constraints, and some schools that do offer art courses are unable to provide art supplies, resulting in a decline in teaching quality or even the termination of the program. In order to help children pick up their brushes again, ICSO has launched the “Art for Dreams” donation campaign to help these children have a colorful dream.

Since its launch in 2020, the program has implemented 7 projects, raising over 100,000 RMB in total and helping over 800 rural students.
