About Us
overview
International Commonweal Support Organization (ICSO) is a global public welfare team composed of Chinese students worldwide. ICSO was founded in May 2017 by three Chinese students studying in the UK. Since its establishment, ICSO has always focused on gathering the strength of Chinese overseas students worldwide to promote the development of global public welfare undertakings. Improving the education of poor students, protecting the environment, and social assistance as the core. ICSO has successively registered its subordinate branches in China, Britain, and the United States. Carried out more than 150 public welfare projects in 12 countries ICSO always promotes the development of global general welfare undertakings as its original intention, connects humanity, supports the elderly and protects the children as its responsibility, and works hand in hand with many public welfare organizations around the world.
Main project types
Education of poor students
Poor students typically cannot complete primary education in many developing and underdeveloped countries because of economic pressure. ICSO is helping them through free education, scholarships, grants, and other means.
environmental protection
With the development of science and technology and urbanization, many animals and plants face the threat of extinction. ICSO is protecting endangered animals and plants by calling for environmental protection, establishing exclusive, protected areas, and more accurate and high coverage collection and monitoring methods.
Social assistance
vulnerable groups and people experiencing homelessness will significantly affect social security and economic development. ICSO is committed to working with the government and churches to help homeless people get jobs and provide corresponding humanitarian assistance. In addition, some homeless people’s fundamental survival rights and interests are protected through the established shelters and our cooperation hospitals.

Cloud management mode
In August 2018, after discussion at the second executive director meeting organized by ICSO, the following decision was made: due to the restrictions in China’s management measures for foreign-funded NPOs and international organizations, ICSO public welfare organizations decided to implement the management system of cloud management, local implementation, that is, to set up local NPOs in each project implementation country or cooperate with local NPOs to complete the project, and ICSO public welfare organizations are only responsible for cloud management.
The collaborative management system integrated into the Internet not only improves the office efficiency of ICSO but also makes it bid farewell to the era of “information island” in the organization. Through the collaborative office system, ICSO can more conveniently and quickly realize the collaboration among internal organizations at all levels, departments, and personnel and provide employees with an efficient collaborative work platform. The cloud management mode enables ICSOs to rely on Internet technologies such as “big data, cloud computing, platform, and mobile Internet.” So that collaborative software can continuously create new value for ICSO in project management, human management, and other aspects; Now, ICSO can form supporting measures to complete the closed-loop of the whole work.
